After 5 played minutes Gatwick FC got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Prado. After 7 played minutes Club Felipe Carrera got a freekick which was hit by Josue Talia. Rony Alvarado came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Gatwick FC's Marcelo Peña. But to his dismay, Marcelo Peña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcelo Peña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Dennys Umanzor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Felipe Carrera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gatwick FC the free kick. The supporters of Gatwick FC booed when Club Felipe Carrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennys Umanzor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Larios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Quijada's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Saul Larios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Quijada in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Quijada in the 21st minute of play forced Gatwick FC's goalkeeper Saul Larios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Peña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rony Alvarado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Club Felipe Carrera's Rony Alvarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Peña in the 31st minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Gatwick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Quijada came free, but Saul Larios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Agustin Quijada fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Marcelo Peña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcelo Peña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Peña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rony Alvarado having to make a save. Pedro Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rony Alvarado made a huge save. After 71 played minutes Club Felipe Carrera got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Del Cid. 73 minutes into the game, Marcelo Peña lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Rony Alvarado. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Felipe Carrera's goalkeeper Rony Alvarado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saul Larios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Quijada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gatwick FC's Saul Larios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Quijada in the 94th minute of play.
