But to his dismay, Genaro Figueroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The attack was good, but when Martin Kotlík in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 38 minutes into the game, MOTAGUA - FFH's Genaro Figueroa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 贺正鹰 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ulverston FC's players were relieved. 郑弘寒 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Flamenco in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Ulverston FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Uranga to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Figueroa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 贺正鹰. That made the score 0-8 in the 86 minute of play. The MOTAGUA - FFH supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MOTAGUA - FFH would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
