Omar Giron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Omar Giron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Delaune, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Made in Honduras booed when John Galt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Guevara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Ben Delaune shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Giron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, John Galt's Victorino Moreira got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Guevara during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Alexis Guevara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mike Tardy came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Made in Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Tardy couldn't finish the play. One of Made in Honduras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of John Galt:s goal. Wang Shi Ying had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Christoper Chung's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Pimentel to make the kick off. Ben Delaune took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Giron. Omar Giron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 58 minutes of play John Galt's Alexis Guevara was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, John Galt's Alexis Guevara got a free kick in the 59th minute. Omar Giron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Delaune in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to John Galt getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Augusto Rico hit a great ball. Made in Honduras made a substitution. Nicolás Mora replaced Guillermo Mendez. Made in Honduras's Ricardo Viscarra was substituted for Miguel Villanueva. Mike Tardy hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Humberto Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Delaune recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind John Galt's goalkeeper Omar Giron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Made in Honduras made a substitution. Fabio Cetino replaced Mike Tardy. 85 minutes into the match, Diego Ramos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Giron, 0-4. A collision led to Made in Honduras getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fabio Cetino hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Cetino in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Giron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 97 minutes, Ricardo Viscarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Made in Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Viscarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
