Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) Efrain Fornos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ramon Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Fornos's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When Juan Dubon came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Wallsend City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Dubon couldn't finish the play. Lee's Ramon Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Fornos in the 11th minute of play. When Efrain Molina came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Lee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Molina couldn't finish the play. If Efrain Fornos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Wallsend City booed when Lee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Hurtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Rolando Pedrozo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramon Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes Wallsend City got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Anaya. In the 28th minute, Abraham Barraza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wallsend City's Yasir Meza didn't even have to move. 31 minutes into the game, Efren Hidalgo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wallsend City the free kick. Ramon Torres was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rolando Pedrozo. Thanks to some nice moves Juan Dubon could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Ramon Torres however easily saved by the left post. Alvaro Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Torres having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Dubon got free with Ramon Torres in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efrain Molina was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Wallsend City's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Molina came free, but Yasir Meza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Molina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yasir Meza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Ramon Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Dubon's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Manuel Hurtado charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Hurtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lee's Manuel Hurtado got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Juan Dubon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallsend City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Dubon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Fornos in the 58th minute of play forced Lee's goalkeeper Ramon Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Fornos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Torres having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Efrain Molina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wallsend City's Yasir Meza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yasir Meza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Contrera's late challenge caught a Lee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Contrera helped the player get up and apologised. Augusto Contrera hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Lee's Ramon Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Fornos in the 78th minute of play. If Oscar Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ramon Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Dubon, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Lee's Ramon Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Fornos in the 87th minute of play. Juan Dubon struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ramon Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallsend City. 91 minutes into the match, Efrain Fornos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lee's Ramon Torres. Ramon Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wallsend City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lee had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
