Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Vasquez started the match with the kick off. 13 minutes into the match, Sandown City's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Vasquez came free, but Ronald Jimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Swanage were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Sandown City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rene Sosa took the corner. Swanage's Rene Sosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ronald Jimenez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Swanage's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rene Sosa in the 24th minute. A nice corner shot did that Rene Sosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronald Jimenez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 27 minutes into the game, Franklin Cortez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandown City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swanage the free kick. The supporters of Swanage booed when Sandown City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Rene Sosa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sandown City's Ronald Jimenez didn't even have to move. Ronald Jimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Vasquez in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Sandown City getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Franklin Cortez hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Leopoldo Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Jimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Vasquez in the 33rd minute of play forced Sandown City's goalkeeper Ronald Jimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Vasquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sandown City's zone, Leopoldo Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Jimenez came out of the goal and Leopoldo Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Cortez got free with Felipe Asad in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josue Ulloa to strike the kick off in the second half. Efrain Cortez struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Felipe Asad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandown City. In the 63rd match minute, Swanage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. Sandown City's Efrain Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efrain Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Asad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Cortez's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Swanage's zone, Efrain Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Asad came out of the goal and Efrain Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efrain Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Felipe Asad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Josue Ulloa came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sandown City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josue Ulloa couldn't finish the play. Felipe Asad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Edgar Sifon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swanage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Sifon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Cortez in the 97th minute of play forced Swanage's goalkeeper Felipe Asad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
