The supporters of Sacachispas FC booed when Jersey St Aubin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Menjivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eraldo Madariaga in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Pimentel saved Jersey St Aubin from getting behind. When Daniel Menjivar came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sacachispas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Menjivar couldn't finish the play. When Sacachispas FC's Eraldo Madariaga in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jersey St Aubin's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Menjivar made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Will Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sacachispas FC's Lorenzo Muñoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Ramirez in the 54th minute of play. When Augusto Pineda fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacachispas FC's protests and gave Augusto Pineda a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Pineda kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lorenzo Muñoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes of play Sacachispas FC's Augusto Pineda was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 58 played minutes Sacachispas FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Pineda. In the 60th match minute, Sacachispas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Gallegos to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benji Paz during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Daniel Menjivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Muñoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Fernandez in the 78th minute of play. Eraldo Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Pimentel having to interfere. After 88 played minutes, Jersey St Aubin's Francisco Rivas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lorenzo Muñoz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jersey St Aubin reached it. Will Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lorenzo Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Menjivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Pimentel having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Sacachispas FC got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Madariaga. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jersey St Aubin had won after a very even match.
