After a rather tough play, GALATICOS's Milton Messias got a free kick in the 31st minute. Saul Castaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Hector Coreas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Pinho having to interfere. Edgar Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Braun having to interfere. Hector Coreas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Augusto Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Velis in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Braun saved GALATICOS from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Augusto Pinho made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Primitivo Arango sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Arango in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Pinho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Douglas Braun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Mendoza in the 63rd minute of the match. Henry Velis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. With his leg Augusto Pinho managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when GALATICOS's Primitivo Arango fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 98th minute Hector Coreas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
