If Edgar Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Velis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Humberto Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, New Milton FC's Mariano Zepeda got a free kick in the 5th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Edgar Mendoza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Humberto Amaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaime Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaime Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Pinho having to interfere. When Odir Mondragon came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the New Milton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odir Mondragon couldn't finish the play. Augusto Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Rico in the 19th minute of play. Baltazar Brizuela hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Glastonbury's goal looked a bit too open when Odir Mondragon came free, but Augusto Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Glastonbury getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Benji Aguilar hit a great ball. Augusto Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odir Mondragon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New Milton FC's Humberto Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Velis in the 46th minute of play.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Henry Velis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glastonbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Velis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, New Milton FC's Mariano Zepeda got a free kick in the 54th minute. The supporters of Glastonbury booed when New Milton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Corrales didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Edgar Mendoza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Milton FC's Humberto Amaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgar Mendoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Glastonbury's Edgar Mendoza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Amaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Velis in the 73rd minute of play forced New Milton FC's goalkeeper Humberto Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Henry Velis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Velis in the 80th minute of play forced New Milton FC's goalkeeper Humberto Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Odir Mondragon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augusto Pinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mariano Zepeda kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Alvarenga in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Amaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the New Milton FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Glastonbury.
