Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Oswaldo Sifon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Sifon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Victorino Menjivar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oswaldo Sifon struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Benji Orobio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banbury. Marcelo Corrales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Del Carmen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Corrales in the 16th minute of play forced Banbury's goalkeeper Eraldo Del Carmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind St Ives City's goalkeeper Benji Orobio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Primitivo Najarro came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the St Ives City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Najarro couldn't finish the play. Eraldo Del Carmen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Corrales's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Banbury's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Corrales came free, but Eraldo Del Carmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Sifon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benji Orobio having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind St Ives City's goalkeeper Benji Orobio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victorino Menjivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Benji Orobio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benji Orobio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Banbury's Jorge Escobar. But to his dismay, Jorge Escobar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Oswaldo Sifon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Najarro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Najarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Del Carmen having to interfere. Primitivo Najarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Banbury's goalkeeper Eraldo Del Carmen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eraldo Del Carmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Najarro in the 72nd minute of the match. Oswaldo Sifon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Benji Orobio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benji Orobio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Menjivar in the 82nd minute of play. Marcelo Corrales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Primitivo Najarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Del Carmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Menjivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Benji Orobio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in St Ives City's zone, Oswaldo Sifon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benji Orobio came out of the goal and Oswaldo Sifon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Victorino Menjivar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A beautiful save bye St Ives City's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Banbury had won after a very even match.
