An unexpectedly hard shot by Efren Hinguanzo in the 16th minute of play forced Glastonbury AFC's goalkeeper Pedro Erazo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Erazo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efren Hinguanzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Catford getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leonel Bran hit a great ball. Wilber Pinho hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Glastonbury AFC's zone, Efren Hinguanzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Erazo came out of the goal and Efren Hinguanzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Efren Hinguanzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Erazo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glastonbury AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Sigaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswaldo Sigaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Sosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oswaldo Sigaran ran back to his position shaking his head. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
