Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) Ironville's Luis Portillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lorenzo Ocampo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Augusto Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ironville's Augusto Valenzuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Ocampo in the 4th minute of play. Augusto Valenzuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Arellano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deris Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Benji Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Eliseo Arellano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Ocampo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Valenzuela saved Ironville from getting behind. Lorenzo Ocampo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Valenzuela having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Lorenzo Ocampo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunton Bassett's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Ocampo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Valenzuela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Uranga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunton Bassett's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ironville the free kick. Oswaldo Uranga hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Luis Portillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benji Ochoa came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Portillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Deris Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ironville's supporters rose to their feet, but Deris Rey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benji Ochoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deris Rey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Benji Ochoa made a huge save. Eliseo Arellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Valenzuela having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Arellano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Eliseo Arellano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Augusto Valenzuela, passed just outside the right post. Augusto Valenzuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Arellano in the 58th minute of the match. Lorenzo Ocampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rdth minute of the game Deris Rey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunton Bassett's Benji Ochoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes Dunton Bassett got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Flores. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Deris Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ironville's supporters rose to their feet, but Deris Rey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benji Ochoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deris Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benji Ochoa having to interfere. Benjamín Granados's late challenge caught a Ironville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamín Granados helped the player get up and apologised. Ironville's Luis Portillo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Deris Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ironville's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eliseo Arellano 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Luis Portillo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Benji Ochoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ironville. Luis Portillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benji Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ironville's Deris Rey got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Portillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
