The score was now 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Cristian Flores got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Cristian Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ludlow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ironville's Augusto Valenzuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Alvarez in the 20th minute of play. Luis Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Ironville's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Alvarez came free, but Augusto Valenzuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Portillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Rey having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Ludlow's goal looked a bit too open when Deris Rey came free, but Edgar Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Deris Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Ocampo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Ocampo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Ludlow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Luis Portillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Rey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Victor Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Ludlow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Augusto Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49thth minute of the game Gabriel Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ironville's Augusto Valenzuela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Portillo was the one to do the kick off. Avilio Victorino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Rey. Ludlow's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. During the 54th minute of the match Victor Baptista completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Victor Baptista a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 55th minute, Victor Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Portillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Edgar Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ludlow's Zelvin Hinguanzo got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Deris Rey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Deris Rey was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Ironville's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cristian Lozano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ludlow fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Edgar Rey went to the wrong direction when Paolo Olmedo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gabriel Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Paolo Olmedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Rey skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Ironville booed when Ludlow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Ochoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Edgar Rey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Deris Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Portillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Rey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Deris Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Rey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deris Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Portillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Luis Portillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Ludlow's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Portillo came free, but Edgar Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Rey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deris Rey in the 101st minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ironville players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ludlow.
