Marcos Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Cortez in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Penryn United's Wilber Melendez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jaime Erazo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seaford FC's protests and gave Jaime Erazo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Jaime Erazo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seaford FC's Marcos Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Cortez in the 17th minute of play. Lorenzo Peña took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Villarreal. Allan Villarreal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Seaford FC's Esteban Ancheta got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Penryn United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Oscar Figueroa hit a great ball. The supporters of Penryn United booed when Seaford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Peña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seaford FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Douglas Guerrero in the 36th minute. Lorenzo Peña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Villarreal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félix Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Félix Escobar might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Villarreal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Félix Escobar ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Seaford FC's Marcos Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilber Melendez in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Ramon Ochoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Villarreal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Baptista having to interfere. Lorenzo Peña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Villarreal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Escobar in the 76th minute of the match. Ramon Ochoa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Allan Villarreal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Peña in the 95th minute of play. Penryn United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
