Aerym Adrien City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Costas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Gutierrez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilber Melendez's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Baltazar Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Gutierrez having to interfere. Felipe Gutierrez was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Wilber Melendez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The Allan Villarreal was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
