Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Januario Parada took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Baltazar Zapata notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Calverley United's Jorge Velis. Jorge Velis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Calverley United's Libardo Zapata threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Januario Parada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Libardo Zapata made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Adolfo Sosa sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Velis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Zapata, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Orlando Bentos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Libardo Zapata. Earlestown AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Januario Parada in the 25th minute of play forced Earlestown AFC's goalkeeper Libardo Zapata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Januario Parada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calverley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Januario Parada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Libardo Zapata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Baltazar Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Januario Parada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Libardo Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Earlestown AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Edgar Boianelli hit a great ball. Adolfo Sosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Libardo Zapata made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Medina made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Januario Parada during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Calverley United got a freekick which was hit by Januario Parada. After recieving a nice pass, Calverley United's Orlando Bentos tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Libardo Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januario Parada in the 66th minute of the match. Edgar Boianelli hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Adolfo Sosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Libardo Zapata having to interfere. Adolfo Sosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Libardo Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Libardo Zapata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Sosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Libardo Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Sosa in the 90th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Orlando Bentos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Libardo Zapata quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Antonio Medina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Velis came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Medina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 96th minute. The Earlestown AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Earlestown AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
