Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antonio Medina made the kick off which started today's match. When Baltazar Zapata came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Earlestown AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Zapata couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Felipe Paz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bembridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Earlestown AFC the free kick. In the 8th minute, one of Bembridge:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bembridge. Bembridge's Josue Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Medina in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Earlestown AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Boianelli to maneuver through the defense. If Baltazar Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bembridge getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fabio Mendez hit a great ball. When Baltazar Zapata came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Earlestown AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Zapata couldn't finish the play. In the 37th play minute Baltazar Zapata came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josue Mondragon. 2-0. After 41 minutes of play, Bembridge's Jorge Talia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Libardo Zapata was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dagoberto Corrales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 53 minutes Earlestown AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Paz who took care of the corner kick. Bembridge's Felipe Paz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Libardo Zapata in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dagoberto Corrales struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Libardo Zapata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bembridge. In the 67th minute Antonio Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Earlestown AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Edwin Oporto hit a great ball. Dagoberto Corrales scored 2-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Libardo Zapata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Josue Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milton Zelaya kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Antonio Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Bembridge's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Zapata came free, but Josue Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
