With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efren Lara in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Libardo Zapata saved Earlestown AFC from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Efren Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Libardo Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efren Lara in the 40th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Antonio Medina lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Oswaldo Molina.

In the 55th minute, Efren Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Libardo Zapata. The goal made the score 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Zapata in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oswaldo Molina saved Hale FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Hale FC's Juan Leiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Libardo Zapata. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. If Juan Leiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Efren Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Libardo Zapata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Antonio Medina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Oswaldo Molina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Efren Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute.
