With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Antonio Guardado made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Guerra. Wellesbourne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Milton Palencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If David Leiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, Lichfield City's Dennys Anaya made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Guerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Dennys Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lichfield City's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennys Anaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 minutes of play, Lichfield City's Antonio Guardado made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Guerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 59th minute Marvin Villatoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Granados saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes, Wilmer Magaña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lichfield City and the Wellesbourne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Richard Granados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marvin Villatoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Marvin Villatoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Richard Granados didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marvin Villatoro went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Antonio Guardado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Guerra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Dennys Anaya came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruben Guerra could save by the left post. In the 91st minute Marvin Villatoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Granados saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Granados took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Leiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Wellesbourne supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lichfield City's performance. The match ended with a win for Lichfield City.
