Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antonio Guardado started the match with the kick off. When Antonio Guardado came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Lichfield City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Guardado couldn't finish the play. Antonio Guardado struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Mauricio Galdamez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lichfield City. The supporters of Wolverhampton FC booed when Lichfield City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Granados came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolverhampton FC's Jaime Barrera. But to his dismay, Jaime Barrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Dennys Anaya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauricio Galdamez. Dennys Anaya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Richard Granados took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Barrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wolverhampton FC booed when Lichfield City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilmer Magaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Diego Peredes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Granados skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Jaime Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverhampton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Barrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alejandro Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lichfield City's Richard Granados played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Meza in the 46th minute of play. Patricio Uranga kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Barrera to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Lichfield City's zone, Jaime Barrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Granados came out of the goal and Jaime Barrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lichfield City's Richard Granados got control of the ball when Alejandro Meza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Lichfield City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Guardado to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Galdamez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennys Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Félix Amaya lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 62 minutes into the game, one of Lichfield City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmer Magaña in the 75th minute of play forced Wolverhampton FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Galdamez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Meza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Richard Granados made a huge save. Dennys Anaya scored 4-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Galdamez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Patricio Uranga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauricio Galdamez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennys Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
