The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrés Pineda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Batres in the 4th minute of the match. Eliseo Batres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrés Pineda came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Batres slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. If Nicolás Díaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Garay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Andrés Pineda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efren Sifon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Giovani Espindola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Waltham Cross's Edgardo Salguero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovani Espindola was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd match minute, Lichfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Orobio to maneuver through the defense. Efren Sifon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Edgardo Salguero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Lichfield got a corner. Waltham Cross's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Will Brizuela ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dennys Alas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andrés Pineda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ulises Garay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Pineda having to interfere. When Benjamín García came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Waltham Cross fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamín García couldn't finish the play. Giovani Espindola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efren Sifon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lichfield's Giovani Espindola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Barrera in the 44th minute of play. Eliseo Batres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Pineda having to interfere.

Giovani Espindola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Barrera in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Ulises Garay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waltham Cross's Andrés Pineda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Ulises Garay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Pineda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lichfield's Giovani Espindola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efren Sifon in the 73rd minute of play. Waltham Cross's Efren Sifon was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Milton Galdamez hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ulises Garay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Andrés Pineda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eliseo Batres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrés Pineda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Garay in the 90th minute of play. Ovidio Barrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Giovani Espindola made a huge save. The Waltham Cross players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
