In the 8th minute, Esteban Montes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Golcar United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Coreas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Golcar United getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Efren Llorente hit a great ball. When Luis Alas came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Holland-on-Sea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Alas couldn't finish the play. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Golcar United! Ladislao Barquero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Montes in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Holland-on-Sea booed when Golcar United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Barquero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Alas's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alonso Peredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golcar United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonso Peredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Coreas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Fernandez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Golcar United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Alas to make the kick off. Esteban Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Barquero having to interfere. Luis Alas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ladislao Barquero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Coreas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Peredes in the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Benjamín Alvarenga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holland-on-Sea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golcar United the free kick. Benjamín Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ramon Coreas came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Golcar United's Ruben Fernandez. But to his dismay, Ruben Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Luis Alas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Barquero having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Golcar United's zone, Esteban Montes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Barquero came out of the goal and Esteban Montes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Esteban Montes could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Ladislao Barquero however easily saved by the left post. Ramon Coreas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonso Peredes went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the match, Holland-on-Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Fernandez came free, but Ramon Coreas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Esteban Montes in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ladislao Barquero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Esteban Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holland-on-Sea's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Barquero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Golcar United support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
