Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Del Carmen started the match with the kick off. Leonel García showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Del Carmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jaime Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Rico having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aldbrough FC's Benjamín Zaldaña got a free kick in the 10th minute. Aldbrough FC's Rene Del Carmen got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Melton Mowbray FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after William Fornos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Aldbrough FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Andrés Prado hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Jose Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melton Mowbray FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Mario Cabrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Fornos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel García having to interfere. Melton Mowbray FC's Leonel García proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Melton Mowbray FC from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Franklin Chavez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Melton Mowbray FC's zone, Rene Del Carmen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel García came out of the goal and Rene Del Carmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melton Mowbray FC's goalkeeper Leonel García, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Rivas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, William Fornos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aldbrough FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Jose Medina came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Melton Mowbray FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Medina couldn't finish the play. Leonel García took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Fornos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Efrain Velis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Del Carmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leonel García tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, William Fornos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel García. Melton Mowbray FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Fornos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 66th minute, Rene Del Carmen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel García was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Rene Del Carmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rivas in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Melton Mowbray FC's Jose Medina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Rico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Medina succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-1 in the 85th playminute. Thanks to some nice moves Jose Medina could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Arnoldo Rico however easily saved by the left post. Aldbrough FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Melton Mowbray FC for a fine match.
