Enrique Rosales acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Andrés Prado. In the 27thth minute of the game Ulises Mejia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aldbrough FC's Arnoldo Rico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Benjamín Zaldaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edwin Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Aldbrough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Gomez came free, but Arnoldo Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Fornos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Rosales having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin Gomez made a kick off.
