The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Bexhill on Sea United got a freekick which was hit by Rene Rojas. Alvaro Medrano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Salguero in the 33rd minute. Ovidio Salguero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Salguero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Bonilla in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Medrano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Navas made a kick off. Alexander Navas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ulises Castaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RETALHULEU. Alvaro Medrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Salguero in the 56th minute of play. Ovidio Salguero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, RETALHULEU's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Bonilla came free, but Alvaro Medrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Jonathan Bonilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Medrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Medrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Salguero in the 76th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Mendoza couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bexhill on Sea United booed when RETALHULEU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the RETALHULEU players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bexhill on Sea United.
