Whiteley's Baltazar Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasir Barquero in the 8th minute of play. Francisco Alvarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Boianelli in the 11th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Ernesto Boianelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Alvarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Whiteley's Dennys Gamero got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Alvarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennys Gamero in the 24th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Dennys Gamero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cuddington's Francisco Alvarado. Francisco Alvarado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dennys Gamero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Alvarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Boianelli in the 39th minute of play. Dennys Gamero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennys Gamero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Alvarado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Boianelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Alvarado was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Boianelli was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ernesto Boianelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Boianelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Alvarado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cuddington's Milton Guzman got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Yasir Barquero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erick Pacheco in the 74th minute of play forced Whiteley's goalkeeper Baltazar Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erick Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Baltazar Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erick Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasir Barquero in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltazar Paz saved Whiteley from getting behind. Cuddington's Francisco Alvarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Boianelli in the 91st minute of play. Francisco Alvarado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennys Gamero in the 93rd minute. Ramon Corrales charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Corrales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Cuddington got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Corrales. Cuddington's Francisco Alvarado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Cuddington from getting a goal against them.
