Redhill's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Paredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Rey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Amilcar Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislao Osorio was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amilcar Nunes in the 34th minute of play forced Redhill's goalkeeper Ladislao Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Paz in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Washington United's goalkeeper Pablo Rey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Paredes. After 60 played minutes, Redhill's Mauricio Calderon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pablo Rey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Redhill reached it. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Christian Paz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Redhill! When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Washington United's Douglas Coria got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ladislao Osorio. In the 74th minute, Jonathan Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Renderos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pedro Renderos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute of the match Pedro Navas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Rey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Christian Paz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ladislao Osorio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
