The crowd rose to their feet as Avebury's Josue Hinguanzo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jhalmar Alvarado. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. When Miguel Villanueva fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avebury's protests and gave Miguel Villanueva a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Moreira was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Rivera charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Rivera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Avebury getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alberto Rivera hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josue Hinguanzo in the 57th minute of play forced Cressage's goalkeeper Jhalmar Alvarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Andrés Molina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jhalmar Alvarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennys Guzman got free with Leonel Sandoval in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dennys Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Moreira in the 74th minute of play forced Avebury's goalkeeper Leonel Sandoval to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Sandoval having to make a save. Josue Hinguanzo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jhalmar Alvarado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avebury. Andrés Molina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennys Guzman struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Leonel Sandoval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cressage. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cressage players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Avebury.
