Finglesham United's Armando Hinguanzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Renderos in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Orobio in the 16th minute of play forced Prestwich's goalkeeper Douglas Carrillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Saul Murgas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Renderos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Alonso Peña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Carrillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Orobio in the 34th minute of the match. Benjamín Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Douglas Carrillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Orobio in the 39th minute of the match. When Saul Murgas fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prestwich's protests and gave Saul Murgas a yellow card for diving instead. Saul Murgas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Edgardo Orobio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Carrillo. Prestwich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Orobio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Renderos made a kick off. Benjamín Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Hinguanzo having to interfere. Finglesham United's Edgardo Uranga got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgardo Uranga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Finglesham United's Edgardo Orobio in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prestwich's goalie prevented a goal. Pedro Renderos scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Hinguanzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Finglesham United's Edgardo Uranga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Carrillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Prestwich's Ronald Villacorta got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Orobio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douglas Carrillo was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Pedro Renderos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Hinguanzo having to interfere. Douglas Carrillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Orobio in the 97th minute of play. Finglesham United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
