In the 13th minute, Union Deportiva CS FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Augusto Ramirez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 15 minutes into the match, Union Deportiva CS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Alvarenga came free, but Jaime Gallardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Angel Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FC Emeizer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Rolando Contrera hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Union Deportiva CS FC's Eraldo Braun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ove Hägg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Miguel Sigaran kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jaime Gallardo came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Emeizer's Augusto Ramirez. But to his dismay, Augusto Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, FC Emeizer's Rolando Contrera got a free kick in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Martinez in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ove Hägg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Martinez in the 34th minute of play forced FC Emeizer's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Union Deportiva CS FC's Hector Ramirez got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute FC Emeizer were awarded a corner. Eusébio Araújo went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Benji Umanzor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Angel Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Augusto Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Gallardo having to interfere. Chants of Union Deportiva CS FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Emeizer had held the ball for most of the match.
