In the 6th minute, FC Emeizer's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wilber Rivera fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Augusto Ramirez struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Wilber Salazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Emeizer. Jens-Ove Hägg came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Euston's Wilber Rivera. But to his dismay, Wilber Rivera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of FC Emeizer booed when Euston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Sosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Angel Alvarenga put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wilber Salazar. Wilber Rivera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jens-Ove Hägg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilber Rivera came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jens-Ove Hägg could save by the left post. After having played for 34 minutes, Augusto Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Emeizer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Berrueta struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jens-Ove Hägg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Euston. Wilber Rivera in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jens-Ove Hägg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 44th minute, Rafael Arango hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilber Salazar having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angel Alvarenga made a kick off. Wilber Salazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Ramirez in the 52nd minute. Euston's Wilber Salazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Euston from getting a goal against them. Wilber Salazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Euston's goalkeeper Wilber Salazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Ramirez. FC Emeizer's Augusto Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Emeizer's Jens-Ove Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Berrueta in the 67th minute of play. Wilber Salazar came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Emeizer's Augusto Ramirez. But to his dismay, Augusto Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jens-Ove Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilber Rivera in the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Emeizer defense, Carmelo Berrueta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Ove Hägg. The FC Emeizer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ove Hägg should have stopped the shot. Angel Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilber Rivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
