If Max Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, Wickford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Paz to maneuver through the defense. Wickford City's Selvin Tobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erick Vinosis in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Claudio Cerna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gilberto Arellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Uffington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Januario Arango to maneuver through the defense. Selvin Tobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erick Vinosis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Yasir Pacheco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selvin Tobar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Ronald Dubon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selvin Tobar having to interfere. Uffington's Yasir Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Wickford City defense, Erick Vinosis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selvin Tobar. The Wickford City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selvin Tobar should have stopped the shot. Selvin Tobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasir Pacheco in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Uffington were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Cerna to make the kick off. If Yasir Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yasir Pacheco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Uffington's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Wickford City's Selvin Tobar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Wickford City from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Uffington getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Diego Messias hit a great ball. Selvin Tobar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erick Vinosis in the 67th minute. Yasir Pacheco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Selvin Tobar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Wickford City defense, Erick Vinosis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selvin Tobar. The Wickford City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selvin Tobar should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Claudio Cerna notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Uffington's Januario Liborio. Januario Liborio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erick Vinosis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Selvin Tobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yasir Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Erick Vinosis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uffington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erick Vinosis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erick Vinosis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Max Paz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. The supporters of Uffington booed when Wickford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ronald Dubon came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Uffington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Dubon couldn't finish the play. Uffington's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
