After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Hector Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ingatestone's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Cabrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selvin Tobar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Max Paz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Cabrera in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selvin Tobar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Wickford City's Alonso Noyola got a free kick in the 20th minute. Hector Cabrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selvin Tobar having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Sosa during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Sosa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Hector Cabrera struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Selvin Tobar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingatestone. Selvin Tobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Nicolás Mayen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Hector Cabrera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selvin Tobar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Wickford City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ingatestone were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Cabrera to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramon Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ulises Navarro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Castaneda. Ingatestone's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 56th minute, Manuel Cetino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nicolás Mayen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Wickford City's Max Paz got a free kick in the 71st minute. Selvin Tobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Mayen in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Leonel Sosa suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 76 minutes, Carmelo Hernández mouthed his way into the referee's book. Hector Cabrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Selvin Tobar made a huge save. Selvin Tobar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Ingatestone left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wickford City.
