After 18 played minutes C.S.D Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Madariaga. In the 20th match minute, UFG ᴱᴸᴵᵀᴱ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. C.S.D Municipal's Emiliano Salazar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UFG ᴱᴸᴵᵀᴱ. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Hector Uranga put in a rough tackle. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.S.D Municipal! Tião Linhares scored 0-6 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Peña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UFG ᴱᴸᴵᵀᴱ's goalkeeper Caetano Prestes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nestor Mosen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Alejandro Peña made a huge save. With a little luck, C.S.D Municipal's Alejandro Peña got control of the ball when Ye Yue Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line.
