In the 8th minute Christian Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Corrales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltazar Castaneda during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bowburn FC's Manuel Mayen got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Waldir Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Edwin Corrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldir Galdamez in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin Corrales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Bowburn FC booed when Bristol Totterdown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Manuel Mayen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. In the 47th match minute, Bowburn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Mayen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Christian Sandoval made the kick off in the second half. Waldir Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. If Jorge Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Carmelo Padilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Salguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joselito Arellano came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edwin Corrales could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Padilla in the 80th minute of play forced Bowburn FC's goalkeeper Eraldo Salguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ricardo Lovo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Bowburn FC's Eraldo Salguero. Eraldo Salguero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwin Corrales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Sandoval went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
