The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 minutes, Fernando Bran made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bristol Totterdown's Edwin Corrales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Henry Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Corrales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Bristol Totterdown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Paredes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Henry Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.S.A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Botello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edwin Corrales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Bran in the 39th minute of the match. If Fernando Bran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Bran to make the kick off. Henry Botello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edwin Corrales came out and tried to block the shot, but Henry Botello slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 52nd minute. Baltazar Castaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, 张荣源 took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Edwin Corrales to make any attempt to save it. 张荣源 struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Edwin Corrales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.S.A.C.. Edwin Corrales made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Henry Botello sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bristol Totterdown booed when U.S.A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Guevara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Lovo in the 71st minute of play. Franklin Salinas's late challenge caught a U.S.A.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Salinas helped the player get up and apologised. Franklin Salinas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. U.S.A.C.'s German Ruano was substituted for Sergio Guevara. After a rather tough play, Bristol Totterdown's Franklin Salinas got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Bristol Totterdown's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Escobar came free, but Edwin Corrales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, German Ruano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Rafael Mora shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Jatsu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. U.S.A.C.'s Henry Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edwin Corrales made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fernando Bran sent off a good shot on target. Henry Botello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Edwin Corrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
