The referee ignored Lindfield AFC's protests and gave Alejandro Reyes a yellow card for diving instead. CF Deportivo Ramón made a substitution. Francisco Benavides replaced Nicolás Campos. After 25 played minutes Lindfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Reyes. Waldir Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dagoberto Viscarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dagoberto Viscarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Castillo in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Waldir Castillo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Lindfield AFC's Dagoberto Viscarra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lindfield AFC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Viscarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Lindfield AFC's Dagoberto Viscarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Castillo in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Lindfield AFC booed when CF Deportivo Ramón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Castillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Waldir Castillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dagoberto Viscarra was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. When the match was over CF Deportivo Ramón could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lindfield AFC throughout the match.
