Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelo Zaldaña got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jorge Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bowburn FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Alfaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efren Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bowburn FC's Waldir Galdamez got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Pinho having to interfere. A collision led to Holloway getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Agustin Oporto hit a great ball. Christian Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efren Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Christian Sandoval fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bowburn FC's protests and gave Christian Sandoval a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Holloway booed when Bowburn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sandoval didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bowburn FC's Christian Sandoval got a free kick in the 31st minute. Eraldo Salguero made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marcelo Zaldaña sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes, Marcos Villacorta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holloway and the Bowburn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Holloway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Villacorta to maneuver through the defense. Efren Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Galdamez in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Holloway booed when Bowburn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Zaldaña in the 47th minute of play forced Bowburn FC's goalkeeper Eraldo Salguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Sandoval to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Holloway getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eliseo Sandoval hit a great ball. Bowburn FC's Jorge Alfaro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Efren Pinho but with some difficulty. Mauro Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Efren Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bowburn FC's Eraldo Salguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Villalobos in the 72nd minute of play. If Waldir Galdamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holloway's Efren Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Holloway from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Sandoval in the 89th minute of play forced Holloway's goalkeeper Efren Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Villacorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eraldo Salguero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Marcelo Zaldaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eraldo Salguero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Holloway fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bowburn FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
