Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arturo Lovo kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovani Chavez in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Giovani Chavez made a precise shot to the right of Jose Torres. Ilfracombe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Giovani Chavez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Torres was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After having played for 26 minutes, Enrique Corpeño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilfracombe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Corpeño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rene Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Deris Flamenco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Paolo Zapata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Max Machado came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Avebury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Machado couldn't finish the play. Max Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Torres having to make a save. If Rene Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Avebury were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Max Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avebury's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Max Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avebury's Max Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Will Peredes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Max Machado notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ilfracombe's Jose Torres. Jose Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Humberto Morales fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avebury's protests and gave Humberto Morales a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ilfracombe booed when Avebury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Avebury's Omar Lozano got a free kick in the 90th minute. Avebury played a much better game than Ilfracombe and deserved their victory. The Ilfracombe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
