When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Joselito Ortiz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joselito Carrillo. Joselito Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joselito Carrillo having to make a save. After 28 minutes, Joselito Ortiz made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Stamford Bridge's Joselito Carrillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilmer Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januario Díaz in the 32nd minute of the match. If Joselito Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Lorenzo Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Soul´s Anchor Tattoo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Félix Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stamford Bridge reached it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joselito Ortiz made a kick off. Omar Arango fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joselito Carrillo having to interfere. Soul´s Anchor Tattoo played a much better game than Stamford Bridge and deserved their victory. The Stamford Bridge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
