Oswaldo Tobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Menjivar took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Duarte. Daniel Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Menjivar in the 9th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Poulton-Le-Fylde United got a corner. Banditos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rolando Bautista ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rolando Bautista almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Banditos's Eraldo Coreas did a great save. 27 minutes into the match, Poulton-Le-Fylde United's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Díaz came free, but Daniel Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Rony García took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eraldo Coreas to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Banditos's zone, Pedro Henriquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Coreas came out of the goal and Pedro Henriquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pedro Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Menjivar went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Daniel Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Rodriguez in the 46th minute of the match. When Carlos Menjivar came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Banditos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Menjivar couldn't finish the play. The Poulton-Le-Fylde United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Banditos were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Pedro Henriquez made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Pedro Henriquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Banditos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eraldo Coreas should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Lorenzo Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Poulton-Le-Fylde United's Daniel Duarte got control of the ball when Eliseo Díaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Carlos Menjivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Menjivar in the 95th minute of play forced Poulton-Le-Fylde United's goalkeeper Daniel Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Díazs short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Daniel Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
