William Valenzuela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th match minute, Eastcote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Alferez to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. William Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Fabio Coreas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Valenzuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Rodriguez in the 21st minute of the match. Fabio Coreas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Emiliano Collado charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Collado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mariano Umaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Ernesto Alferez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Puerto San José's William Posadas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Valenzuela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 36th match minute, Puerto San José was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Collado to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Giovani Cruz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Puerto San José's Mariano Umaña. Mariano Umaña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. William Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edgar Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Edgar Chavez made the kick off in the second half. William Posadas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Valenzuela having to make a save. When William Posadas came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Puerto San José fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Posadas couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes of play, Eastcote's Victorino Guerra made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Umaña was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, William Posadas took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for William Valenzuela to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Eastcote booed when Puerto San José was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Cabrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovani Cruz took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Umaña. Mariano Umaña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Mariano Umaña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Alferez in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Puerto San José's William Posadas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Valenzuela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Edgar Chavez took a quick shot and it went in 3-7 without a chance for William Valenzuela to make any attempt to save it. Fabio Coreas's late challenge caught a Puerto San José's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Coreas helped the player get up and apologised. William Valenzuela had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Armando Rodriguez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edgar Chavez struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. William Valenzuela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puerto San José. Puerto San José played a much better game than Eastcote and deserved their victory. The Eastcote players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
