Martin Ayala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwin Mesa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Arnaez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Mesa in the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edwin Mesa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 70 minutes into the match, Sardinal de Carrillo's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Mesa came free, but Javier Arnaez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Mesa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Javier Arnaez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Anselmo Vega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Chiles AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Vega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Sardinal de Carrillo's zone, Edwin Mesa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Arnaez came out of the goal and Edwin Mesa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Arnaez having to interfere. Los Chiles AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
