The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Bernardo Saenz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mariano Federspiel. Bernardo Saenz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Jesus Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Murillo got free with Mariano Federspiel in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Los Chiles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Barrantes came free, but Reinaldo Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Federspiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Murillo in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, David Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Federspiel. Reformistas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Chiles FC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Ramirez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Bernardo Saenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mariano Federspiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Los Chiles FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Santiago Bolaños hit a great ball. Bernardo Mejias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Reinaldo Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Bernardo Mejias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Reinaldo Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Jesus Lobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Chiles FC's Reinaldo Ramirez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Israel Molina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, Reinaldo Ramirez, was totally fooled by Reformistas FC's Anselmo Soto, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Reformistas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Chiles FC.
