Isidoro Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Amador in the 24th minute of play. Alonzo Saborio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodomiro Orozco having to interfere. Abelardo Villalobos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Villegas in the 30th minute of play forced Porve FC's goalkeeper Clodomiro Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Grecia FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Campos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Redondo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Amador in the 37th minute of play forced Grecia FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Amador made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Aurelio Navarro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clodomiro Orozco skillfully saved the ball. Leon Amador kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Isidoro Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Amador in the 67th minute of play. Antonio Redondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Isidoro Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Grecia FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Reiner Jimenez hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Villegas in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodomiro Orozco saved Porve FC from getting behind. After having played for 78 minutes, Alonzo Saborio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grecia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Saborio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Buenaventura Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Saborio might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clodomiro Orozco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Saborio ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Villegas had several of the Porve FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Clodomiro Orozco as he didn't even see the shot coming. Antonio Redondo scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Campos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
