Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martin Guzman took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Montezuma AFC booed when Los Chiles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Chaverri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, one of Los Chiles AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Chiles AFC. Salvador Alfaro placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a defensive mix-up in Los Chiles AFC's zone, Anacleto Maroto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Rivera came out of the goal and Anacleto Maroto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Martin Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montezuma AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Rivera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anacleto Maroto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pedro Rivera made a huge save. Elias Morera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Coronado in the 14th minute of play. Anacleto Maroto scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Rivera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Montezuma AFC's Elias Morera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Camacho in the 19th minute of play. Pedro Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Guzman in the 23rd minute of play. Anacleto Maroto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Anacleto Maroto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Rivera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Elias Morera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Camacho in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Montezuma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Blanco. In the 32nd minute, Rogelio Camacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Guzman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Rivera came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Guzman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. Elias Morera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Coronado in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Montezuma AFC booed when Los Chiles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Los Chiles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Alfaro came free, but Pedro Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogelio Camacho to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Coronado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Morera having to interfere. The supporters of Los Chiles AFC booed when Montezuma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Camacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Coronado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Elias Morera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Maroto in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Gilberto Coronado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Chiles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Coronado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Montezuma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Hidalgo to maneuver through the defense. If Gilberto Coronado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Martin Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Anacleto Maroto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Los Chiles AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ricardo Cantillo hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Martin Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montezuma AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Chiles AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
