Fidel Oses might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Carvajal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Oses ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 minutes, Keilor Fuentes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Chiles FC's Cesar Mora tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Fidel Oses made the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Carvajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Oses, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute.
