With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Thome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Lankaster might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herberto Centeno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Lankaster ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Lankaster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Arenal AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Perez Zeledon from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
