Palmares AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andrei Herrera 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After some careless play in the Guacimo defense, Anibal Ayala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Godinez. The Guacimo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Godinez should have stopped the shot. Anibal Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Palmares AFC's Asdrubal Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Herrera in the 56th minute of play. Eduardo Morera might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Asdrubal Matos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Morera ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th match minute, Palmares AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Ayala to maneuver through the defense.
