Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th match minute, Baru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Mena to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Baru FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Miranda came free, but Uriel Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Graga's Chunche Leiton got control of the ball when Eric Valverde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chunche Leiton made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Eric Valverde sent off a good shot on target. Graga's Chunche Leiton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Graga from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Ugalde in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Mata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Herrera in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Mata saved Baru FC from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Benito Hernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baru FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Graga the free kick. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Baru FC! When William Mena fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baru FC's protests and gave William Mena a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Baru FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. William Mena hit a great ball. When Alfonso Herrera came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Graga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Herrera couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Castillo in the 38th minute of play forced Graga's goalkeeper Chunche Leiton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Valverde got free with Chunche Leiton in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Graga's Stanley Mendez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gabriel Burgos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chunche Leiton. Graga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel Castillo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Chunche Leiton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baru FC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Graga's Teodoro Bejarano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teodoro Bejarano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Graga protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teodoro Bejarano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 55th minute, one of Graga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Graga. The Baru FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Chunche Leiton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Castillo went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The Baru FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Chunche Leiton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Porras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chunche Leiton having to interfere. Baru FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
