Leonel Chavarria was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Irvin Hurtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Trejos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Trejos to make the kick off. Fidel Mora struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute.
